Protecting our futures
We’re passionate about travel, and it’s our passion that drives us to make a difference in the world. As we continue to offer activity-based holidays in the great outdoors, in some of nature’s most magnificent locations, we know it is essential that we contribute to industrywide change for a more sustainable future.
As part of the Hotelplan UK Group, and through our key partnerships with Rewilding Britain and Klimate, we’re investing in carbon removal technologies and rewilding our landscapes. And we work closely with our sister brands to progress our broader sustainability agenda.
We are also proud to be a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism. As a Group, are committed to a decade of climate action in tourism as part of the Declaration.

Impact Report
Our Impact Report outlines the progress and achievements we’ve made on our journey to achieving our climate, biodiversity, community and people goals, as well as addressing the challenges faced and our next steps. Key achievements include:
- Inghams Ski achieve emissions intensity reduction of 16% since baseline
- Train travel to a quarter of Inghams’ resorts, rising to nearly a third this winter
- Inghams achieve 12% year on year decrease in absolute emissions
- 14,000 tonnes of carbon removals contracted since 2023
- 39 nationalities in employment
- £3 for every customer donated to Rewilding Britain
- 95% of employees say they have the flexibility to balance work and personal responsibilities
- 97% of employees say they treat one another with dignity and respect regardless of personal identity
We’ve been open and honest in our report about the challenges we face as tour operators, and we’re constantly learning, listening and collaborating with others from across the industry.

After finishing university, I started a seasonal Sales Consultant role, I loved the team I worked with and the job role so much I applied for a permanent position. I worked in the sales team for 7 years progressing from a Sales Consultant to a Team Manager. Working in the Sales team gave me a great understanding of our product, customers and it was great working in a fast paced environment. A year ago I moved over to Product as a Product Manager this role is really interesting getting to develop new destinations and products, but every day is so different which is one of the things I really like about the role.
