This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 p.a. + bonus
About the role:
This exciting role will be working closely with the Senior CRM Manager and internal marketing teams to independently manage and successfully build all email communications across a variety of brands. You will share a passion for CRM and customer experience and won’t be afraid to bring new ideas and improvements to the table.
On a day-to-day basis you will improve email templates and content to drive continued engagement, retention and increased revenue, through testing, scheduling and analysing email performance. You will also play a lead role in CRM database related activity, including campaign automation, segmentation, and conducting detailed analysis to optimise strategies and refine the customer journey. Building and maintaining reports to track success, identify trends, and enhance future campaigns using various platforms including Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI. Key responsibilities:
Manage the technical development and build of email communications and campaign automations, including HTML builds, WYSIWYG editing, dynamic content, testing, deliverability and deployment.
Test email usability and accessibility across clients and platforms as part of a full QA process, including spam scoring and rendering across major email clients and browsers, resolving issues before broadcast.
Apply dynamic content and segmentation strategies to deliver relevant, personalised messaging that drives engagement and increases customer lifetime value, based on behavioural/transactional triggers.
Develop customer data reporting, including self-service dashboards and ad-hoc trend analysis to support insight driven decision making.
Monitor competitor and sector email activity to identify trends and best practice opportunities.
Ensure all email activity complies with GDPR and ICO regulatory standards.
Support the marketing team’s ambition to deliver award winning, best in class marketing that clearly communicates and persuades customers with the right message at the right time.
Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Marketing and Ecommerce teams, including covering absences and assisting during peak periods or operational challenges.
Uphold the marketing team’s primary purpose of serving the business.
Champion sustainability by working with the Sustainability team to bring the organisation’s values to life through cross channel activity.

Experience of working with CRM automation and email platforms is essential.
Experience building automated customer journeys, including data segmentation, triggered communications and personalised email campaigns.
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Insights/Journeys) is desirable.
Experience using reporting and analytics tools (such as Power BI and Google Analytics) to analyse campaign performance, link data sources and build dashboards.
Working knowledge of HTML and basic data expressions to support email creation and campaign optimisation.
Strong analytical mindset, with the curiosity to explore data and uncover insights, trends and opportunities.
A problem-solving approach, identifying patterns in data to improve marketing performance and customer engagement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised and capable of juggling many tasks at once.
Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
