These roles are based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. They are full-time positions, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £24,570 (basic) + up to £4,430 commission p.a.
Fixed term contract for 6 months.
About the role:
You will handle complex customer enquiries, calculate the cost of holidays and create itineraries. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with guests and agents, and offer expert guidance and specialist information. Your expertise in winter destinations and proficiency in handling related queries will be essential in tailoring unforgettable experiences for our customers.
- Service incoming calls and emails from direct clients and travel agents with an outstanding and friendly approach to customer service.
- Strive to achieve individual and team KPIs set in line with department standards.
- Develop a clear understanding of guests/agents requirements to meet expectations for our brand to ensure the right holiday is found to meet their needs.
- Enhancing our customers holiday by offering additional holiday extras/items to reinforce the benefit of booking through us not a competitor.
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Working closely with other team members to promote a strong team ethic.
- Making outbound calls to existing customers and pro-actively chasing leads to generate sales.
- Responding quickly, accurately and effectively to sales enquiries.
- Execute all assigned tasks efficiently to meet sales and service targets.
- Build up knowledge of our competitors.
- Deliver an end to end guest experience.

- Winter sport and/or hiking enthusiast.
- Passionate about Christmas.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of mountain destinations and outdoor adventure travel.
- Passion for travel and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting mountain holidays, especially Christmas and creating magical holiday experiences.
- Proactive and positive attitude, with a drive to exceed sales targets.
- Hard working and tenacious.
- Experience of identifying customer needs and converting enquires into bookings.
- Experience of providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills – persuasive over the phone and engaging written skills.
- Professional, friendly, approachable and a good team player.
- Resilient and motivated by achieving personal and team sales goals.
- Ambitious and eager to grow a career within a dynamic travel business.
- Previous sales experience, ideally in travel or a customer-facing environment is desirable.
- Strong IT and numeracy skills.
